PSA: Tip of the day - If you are worried that your portfolio/ transactions might be tracked, use Monero (XMR)
Hi all,
This post isn't to shill Monero by any means. I believe there are simple, basic information/ tips that should be shared to everyone in the cryptospace, especially the newcomers.
If you are ever worried about your transactions/ portfolios being tracked by someone, use Monero (XMR). Who could this someone be? Well this could be basically anyone on the internet with your receive address, your "curious" relatives, and well, the Tax Agency.
A lot of people might think that Bitcoin transactions are "anonymous". Well it is not. BTC was created on the foundation of a "public ledger", public basically meaning anyone in the whole wide world can look at any transaction of said ledger, given the right information (TxID and/ or receive Address).
Monero solves that problem. All transactions on the Monero blockchain are hidden.
Another alternative that you could look at is Dash. However after doing my research I have come to the personal preference of Monero due to the more transparent team behind this project. This, by all means, is just my own opinion and I don't mean to start any war on this topic.
Hope this helps.
