Hello community. We're finally kicking off our recruitment campaign. We need active help clearing the modqueue, answering modmails, coding bots, etc. We would also like to recruit someone who will organize periodic AMAs.
The primary facet of our recruitment campaign will be in the form of public tryouts. In these tryouts, redditors from the community will be invited to the mod team and evaluated over a 1-2 month time span. If one becomes inactive or abuses power, it will result in removal from the team. The other facet will be less public as we will be sending out invites to users we believe are qualified but haven't submitted an application.
If you haven't already noticed, we have a new link in the tab menu which directs to r/CryptoRecruiting. As the name implies, this sub will specialize in recruiting mods for crypto subreddits and r/CryptoCurrency is one of them. Candidates will be given the opportunity to do "extra credit" assignments, so to speak, to help validate their qualifications and help them improve their chances of being selected as a mod.
