Here are some fake news which basically switch some words to appear more dramatically, saying that France and Germany want to BAN Crypto: https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/907121/bitcoin-Cryptocurrency-price-risk-bans-Emmanuel-Macron-Angela-Merkel-France-Germany
The truth is that both countries want to regulate Crypto, not ban. The same article and interviewed "expert" says China has banned Crypto already, while they have not. France and Germany want to prepare some suggestions for the G20 meeting for the regulation of cryptocurrencies and hope for support. Through the regulation they want to minize the risk for the investors like the German Financial Minister said ("This is something totally new.") This says a german spoken article: https://futurezone.at/netzpolitik/deutschland-und-frankreich-wollen-bitcoin-regulieren/307.262.039
Also interesting to think about: The support France and Germany hope in the G20 for their regulations should come from states like Russia for example, which is sanctioned by the very same EU and has legalized Cryptotrading recently. Or support by Japan which is embracing Crypto strongly or by Canada (Canada GVT now uses Ethereum) or South Korea. Maybe another G20 members will help them, like Saudi Arabia, who wants to make even their own cryptocurrency or Turkey, where the President of the Central Turkish Bank says Bitcoin could contribute to the financial stability. Switzerland, which is not a member of G20 but invited often to the meetings, wants to become a Crypto-Nation. Good luck. ;)
Now you think your part.
By the way, the same newspaper "express.co.uk" also has articles like "BTC was created by an malicious Artifical Intelligence" and "UFOs will bring the end of the world.", also they have headlines like "Germany is preparing for WAR!". When you read the article itself you find out that Germany has recruted 1500 more young people to the military then last year...yeah very dramatic: https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/902973/Germany-army-teens-recruitment-social-media-Bundeswehr
