ELIX: Encouraging people to fund your projects: People could earn rewards/money back for crowdfunding or lending you money

Smart contracts will, in time, utterly revolutionise business. Many jobs will be lost, and many will be made. If you are in a "middle man" type job, start being concerned now - smart contracts could replace your role, and do it for free.
ELIX is a project that plans to release an app in the next few weeks, and a website within the year, that will be a crowdfunding and later a lending/loaning platform. Their key USP is that by funding a project or lending an individual/group money, BOTH the lender and the borrower will earn a reward if the conditions they specify are met (i.e. paid back in time, project achieves a certain milestone, etc).
ELIX runs on the blockchain in order to facilitate this functionality, utilising smart contracts to maintain trust and take the place of an equivalent institution that would do the same. Loans are made in ELIX tokens, which are the vehicle for the smart contract, and volatility in the token price is controlled by the smart contract.
In the future, when lending becomes a bigger functionality, collateral functions will be coded into the contracts also. When that time comes people need no longer look to banks for startup capital, or shady payday loan companies for urgent cash boosts if they're a little low one month - people all over the world can lend them little pieces of the overall amount they require, and in so doing both lender and borrower can earn a little more by having done so successfully in the form of a reward token that can be sold for cash on an exchange.
