today i had an interesting client at work. We were chit chatting and i eventually on the subject of blockchain.. His eyes lit up. He mentioned immediately how his senior advisory board were trying to navigate blockchain, but they were quite risk averse so it was proving difficult.
Look up the guy later on and it turned out he was a managing director of quite a large investment fund company that handle billions in index funds and pension funds. Also regular stocks. He was doing auditing, due diligence and anything else you can imagine including offshore investments.
It seems that there is a lot of interest on the side lines for this even just as an investment still from traditional avenues. Lately with all the FUD it seems that it may not be the case, but this definitely changed my attitude and view fast. He can't be in isolation. we may be closer than we think to traditional investments getting in on this crypto currency train which would add insane kind of liquidity, even if only a small percentage of pension funds were allocated to it.
