Combining my two biggest hobbies, crypto and betting, I decided to research betting platform ICO’s promising to be the ‘future’ of betting. I chose three social betting platforms since their product is very similar and they are direct competitors. All have similar attributes, their tokens are deflationary and will be offering their API to be used by other companies and so on, it almost looks as though they inspired each other. I tried to be as impartial as I could, so I laid out the pros and cons of each product:
Bethereum
Pros:
- A downloadable and working app (alpha) for iOS
- Very user friendly, platform is very simple and quick to understand
- Solid looking team

Automatized “Oracle” (an arbiter that gathers information from outside sources, that decides and confirms who won the bet)
Cons:

They have a pretty long roadmap

Development is not completely finished, I asked devs on Telegram and the Bethereum wallet still needs work apparently
MeVU
Pros:
- Smaller fees
- Token holders act as Oracles and earn tokens for their services
- They will also offer e-sports betting

An in-platform referral system
Cons:

Not using their currency in-platform only ETH — (no incentive for price growth if you are interested in it as investment)

It looks a bit scammy to be honest, no working product after ICO, no news about developing

3 team members?? On the first look i thought it is on a similar level like the previous two, but after some more digging I discovered, that the project is to the best a little shady with little development going on and I wasn’t really sold on it. Do your own research as you always should, but to me just doesn’t seem very trustworthy.
TL:DR / Summary Overall, I think I like Bethereum a little bit better than MeVU while BetterBetting is a no-go for me, however it is fair to say that the MeVU ICO is a few months later than Bethereum’s, so they still have time to develop their product and work out the kinks. Both look very nice and for the moment it is very hard to tell, which is better, only time will tell, but I don’t see why the both couldn’t be success, the betting ecosystem is big enough for two
