TE-FOOD is the world's largest publicly accessible, farm-to-table food traceability system. It's a ready product with live operation. Started in 2016, it serves more than 6000 business customers, and handles 400,000 transactions each day; with over 34M people served. TE-FOOD is the only fresh food ecosystem which integrates supply chain companies, consumers, and governments/authorities to improve food safety, eliminate food frauds, and decrease costs of the supply chain companies.
Two-token economy
Now, this is the one of the most interesting parts of TE-Food. In a medium article awhile back, they stated that they will implement a two-token economy in which there will be a TFD token, but also a TFS token; to be used as a transaction token. It is currently in concept.
Its own blockchain will launch in Q3. Masternodes and other node systems are being considered by the team. They are working closely with regulatory committees and governments to make sure their product abides with international trade laws.

TE-FOOD joins R&D project to develop AI based meat quality checker application

- Sankofa will help TE-FOOD to enter the West African markets, consulting government authorities, negotiating with supply chain companies, and managing implementations / trainings.

- GS1 is a not-for-profit organisation that develops and maintains global standards for business communication. The best known of these standards is the barcode, a symbol printed on products that can be scanned electronically. GS1 barcodes are scanned more than six billion times every day.
- GS1 has 112 local member organisations and 1.5 million user companies.
Telenorma
- Telenorma AG is a trusted solution provider in the German retail sector. Telenorma will implement TE-FOOD's traceability system in Germany for retail companies.
