The Currencies that changed the world

I like to read about money.

Really.

Sure, money itself is very nice, but most people forget or don’t bother to notice that there is a lot of history behind it. Fascinating tales about the people behind the idea, companies and even governments who took a blow because of changes, and even wars that started because of it.

Let’s face it - Money is a huge deal when it comes to pretty much, everything.

I really like the story about the EURO currency.

Creating a currency suited for a continent is phenomenal. All the discussions about joining or not, and countries such as England who kept their own currency are just something else.

As you can see, I’m always intrigued to hear stories like that.
