The ones that are running these groups are the only ones which truly benefit from this. There are a couple of ways this is done.
-They stock up gradually, well in advance, and then set their sell orders high before the pump is announced.
-They delay the announcement by a few seconds passed the minute of the call, and they pump it themselves a significant amount to give the illusion of an even bigger pump than it actually is, whilst also profiting.
The latter is a little more common, and in this screenshot you see them fuck it up. When viewing candle graphs by the minute, it tells you what the activity was at the end of that minute. This means this group bought a load of coins just before making the announcement at 16:00 instead of buying a few seconds in to 16:00.
To be honest it would be a lot more satisfying to see people in the pump and dump groups get burnt by their greed, but it's better to educate the masses and remove any interest in getting involved at all so that these groups do not continue to grow and gain popularity.
Someone is probably going to ask why I even have these pumps in my Telegram. The attraction to these pumps is the dream of 10x gains which appears to be easy to achieve since these things go 25x or more. The answer is that I was toying with the idea of creating a bot to take these pump calls, buy first, and then sell straight away for double. I'd be selling straight to the people pumping while they were in the middle of a pump. Fuck em, right? I never went ahead with making it. besides, this particular group has 11k+ members! half of them probably already have bots running.
